This is a book by DEEPAK CHOPRA writer of many other books including Ageless Body, Timeless Mind, Creating Affluence, Unconditional Life, Return of Rishi.

This book The seven spiritual laws of success is trying to redefine success and is giving it a better frame by removing the old approach of looking at it through the lens of hard work. The author is talking about a new approach to look at success and that is a more spiritual one. For him, material wealth is but another component of success. And he has defined success a journey and not the destination. Material wealth may be required to make the journey comfortable but success also includes good health, energy, and zeal for life, happy relations, creative freedom, emotional and psychological well being, state of bliss.

He is also talking about the divinity that every one of us, you and me, all carry inside and often tries to see its reflection in the eyes of a child, in the beauty of a flower or in the flight of the bird. He is talking about the success to be an experience of something miraculous. He is also trying to explain that the entire universe is nothing but the manifestation of the unmanifest. The three components- spirit, mind and body or observer, the process of observing and the observed- are the same things.

The Quote at the starting of its page that I have found to be very beautiful is what I would end with the introduction of the book:

“You are what your deep, driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will.As your will, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.”

-Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV.4.5

…..to be continued (Chapter 1: The Law of Pure Potentiality)
