Its been a long time since I read a book about love and only love. You must be thinking that this must be a romantic book talking about a man and a woman. Yes, there are sequences of that too but the book is not a romance novel. It is about the purest form of love. Make a guess! Yes, it about the love of a mother. A mother who would do anything when it comes to rescuing her child. She would become a MAMA SAURUS🦕

What would you do if you are a mother who has raised her son single-handedly and wants him to get into the college of his choice one day but circumstances turn your child’s entire career on stake and he might end up being a bartender somewhere if you don’t find a solution to deliver him out? What would you do if you’re a mother to a girl and your abusive husband is after your only child’s life? How would you save her? If you want to find answers to these perplexing questions, you need to pick this book for yourself.

The book is about a single mother, Nicole who is a mere potter and one fine day life gives her an opportunity to showcase her art in a grand upcoming show at a museum. She is excited to tell this happy news to her son but life throws some lemons and she is stuck in a situation hard for her to handle. Her child’s life is at stake and she has no other option but to tackle the situation as it comes. Things don’t stop here when she is struggling hard to carry on her expenses and life together, her sister comes to stay with her after her husband left town saying he had “things to think about”. Amongst all this mess in her life, the only saviour she has is her ex-boyfriend but now an inseparable friend(which she realizes later), Mike, who has always saved her out from worst of situations. She has feelings for him which she does not want to face and tell him, she thinks Mike is too busy with other girls in his life and she can’t afford to have a relationship because the only priority of her life is her son, Justin.

Life takes a difficult turn when one day Justin comes home with a girl, Daniela. And there starts the struggle to rescue her son which lead to more and more difficult situations for all of them. She battles hard to see Justin happy and cheerful again. Life became harder when her sister turns up to stay with. The story becomes interesting to read with the entry of some more intriguing characters who can pose danger to Justin and MAMA SAURUS is all ready to fight them all alone.

The biggest question in the story is, Why Justin brings Daniela home to stay for permanently? Who is she? What is her story and what is her mother, Vivianna hiding from Nicole and Mike? The way Nicole saves Justin, reminds me of this line

No matter how old you are, sometimes you just need your mom for rescue.”

But the Story doesn’t end here, you just started to feel, now it will be a happy ending, and then you find out that all this struggle Nicole and family went through was for a trumped-up story. This surely will leave you in a daze.

The best part of the story is “All’s well that ends well”. Finally, Nicole and Mike are able to share their hearts out and I was happy that they did so. Also, the MAMA SAURUS saves her child’s future and Daniela is accepted back. (Yes, you will have to find out by yourself, what Daniela did that Nicole did not want to see her face again.)

I found the Book to be very simple yet interesting with a beautiful story to read because I was curious to know how Nicole will ultimately save Justin and Daniela? This kept me going on to the next page. I found the book to be a plain read and anybody who wants to have something light to freshen up the mind and heart can pick this book for themselves. I would suggest the book to you if you are in some dilemma and don’t know how to handle relations, you need to take some inspiration from Nicole. If you’re a mother then you need to show some love to another mother, Nicole and pre-order NOW!

I would relax my fingers here by these lines which I admire about a mother like Nicole

Being a mother is learning about strengths you did not know you had, and dealing with fears you did not know existed.”

This is my first read by Anne Pfeffer and truly speaking I loved her style of writing. She has written everything very simplistically yet in an artistic manner. I learnt a few good words and phrases. Thanks, Anne.
