The Last Love Letter explores the contours of broken relationships and the meaning of commitment in modern India. The book discovers that love is neither about control nor surrender but a blessing that can only be experienced by listening to the heart.

The last love letter is a story about a man named Akash who is deeply in love with his wife Nisha even after she has left the world leaving behind him and a 4-year old lovely daughter Sara. Akash is immersed in his work life and parenting Sara all alone but he has still not come out of the shock and trauma of his wife’s demise. He reads her last letter every night which she handed over to the nurse to be given to Akash only after she has left the world. He does not want to come out of his wife’s remembrances even for a second.
On the other hand is Subah, who runs an NGO for women and is a painter by profession. She is miles away from men because of an incident in her life that devastated her completely. But life has its own way of dealing with people and these two completely strange souls meet by chance. How do they start with introducing themselves ? and Where do they land up together? Is on you to find out yourself in the story.

💌 The cover of the book was so striking that I could not suppress myself from reading it.

💌 The story is very decent, reasonable and steady. I like the pace with which the author has written every incident and not tried to make it unrealistic.

💌 Although the story is predictable I still wanted to go till the end to know How Akash overcome his guilt of falling in love once again? and the end did not dishearten me at all.

💌It was a really good and a light read for me and if you love reading emotional stories, go pick this up❣
